Rarekind are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Fitter for a permanent role within the Manufacturing sector, right here on the Central Coast. Our client are an industry leader in their field. Hosting a modern facility that has a high focus on proactive and preventative maintenance.
The role: Along with the other members of the Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for the mechanical maintenance of site machinery.
You will also be responsible for installation, repair, modifications, assembly and overhauling of all plant equipment
Conduct preventative routine maintenance of various manufacturing lines, including electrical systems
Problem solving and thinking on your feet
Working within a close-knit team to ensure efficiency and best use of resources at all times
The Person:
Experience in machining, preventative maintenance and scheduling
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
Electrical understanding, preferably experience with PLC systems
Ability to prioritise, multi task, combined with a strong attention to detail and able to deliver high quality work
Proven maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
High Regards for Safety
Confined space ticket
Current Drivers Licence
Applicants with the following will be highly regarded:
Fabrication or welding skills
Electrical knowledge, experience with PLC systems
High risk licence
